What's up with Carmen Miranda?

I often invoke the name of the iconic Portuguese-born Brazilian entertainer, Carmen Miranda, to describe my signature—and some might say unorthodox—lid designs. Relative to the jars themselves, these lids are beautifully disproportionate in size.

My "Carmen Miranda Lid" designs are highly detailed, richly textured, and brightly colored. Frequently, these intricate lids require just as much studio time to create as the jars they rest upon—a true labor of love.
