Although my decorative vases can absolutely be displayed on their own, I believe these creations also invite functional use—whether holding fresh flowers, dried arrangements, or even being enhanced as unique candle holders (for which I highly recommend the battery-illuminated variety). Ultimately, I believe the line between thrown pottery creations and hand sculpted is a beautiful shade of gray.
Like sculpture, pottery should be viewed from all angles, allowing you to discover new elements each time you look at it. To maximize your aesthetic enjoyment, I recommend turning the creation from time to time. Displaying in brightly lit locations is also recommended. My ultimate goal is to craft one-of-a-kind, beautiful “Works-of-Clay” that bring you joy and add a small touch of “wow” to your home.
