My Process

I am continually experimenting with new designs, non-traditional glaze, combinations of throwing and sculpting, unconventional & application techniques, and firing styles. In many circumstances, I begin with one idea in mind, and then somewhere along the way, the clay moves me in a new direction. 

 My goal is to create pieces that make you smile, and inspire placement in highly visible areas of your home & office, as well as providing a truly unique gift option.

Double-R Clay Works (DRCW) is not trying to replace your favorite coffee cup, or trying to mass produce identical looking sets of dinner ware. 

My focus is to create pottery pieces that inspire the imagination. 

Pieces that truly catch your eye (again and again) continuing to draw you to explore the details of color, shape, and texture.
